Steering Committee meeting to be held in Valencia, Spain

The GreenInfraNet partnership will hold its next Steering Committee meeting on April 9-10 in Valencia, Spain. The 5th Steering Committee meeting agenda includes a dissemination event, study visit and Best Practice Transfer (BPT) workshop. The BPT workshop will take place on day two will provide an excellent opportunity for importing partners to present their activities. Discussion will cover current results, as well as expected results of best practises to be transferred before the end of the year. Specifically, the following best practices will be discussed:

  • Schemes for GI analysis and implementation

  • Integrating GI into spatial plans at local level

  • Landscape planning and participatory processes

  • Forest management

  • Connecting urban GI to parks and natural areas

The BPT workshop will be combined with the Life+ project networking event, ‘GreenInfraNet & Renaix el Bosc’, with links to BP on forest management. More information can be found in the agendas of the dissemination event and during the BPT workshop.
