The natural thing to do: An introduction to the GreenInfraNet project

This video introduces the concept of green infrastructure and describes the efforts of the 11 partner regions participating in the GreenInfraNet project to protect the valuable ecosystems that provide so many benefits for society. The GreenInfraNet project was co-financed by the EU's European Regional Development Fund and made possible by the INTERREG IVC Programme.


A partnership for the future: The GreenInfraNet project

Prepared by the Green Infrastructure Network, this video introduces the various activities carried out by each of the 11 partner regions in order to promote the development of green infrastructure in Europe. The partners hope to encourage policy makers, national and regional authorities, civil society organisations and private companies to cultivate natural assets in order to promote a more integrated, inclusive and resource-efficient society in line with Europe’s 2020 Strategy. The GreenInfraNet project was co-financed by the EU’s European Regional Development Fund and made possible by the INTERREG IVC Programme.


Good to go! Transferring good practices between GreenInfraNet partners

The movie gathers good practises and achievements towards Green Infrastructure from GreenInfraNet project partners across nine EU states. This documentary highlights the need to protect biodiversity through the implementation of the EU Biodiversity Strategy. Through the targets of Biodiversity Strategy 2020, GreenInfraNet experts and other specialists emphasize the necessity for biodiversity protection initiatives and the development of green infrastructures in EU Regions.

The GreenInfraNet project contributes to the achievement of the EU's biodiversity goals by promoting the development of green infrastructure in EU regions.
